Alec’s Training Tip of the Month
"Always remember to reward your dog, either verbally or physically (slow down on treats), for wanted and good behaviors. Even if your dog is just sitting quietly and chewing a bone in their doggie bed, recognize and reward this as a positive behavior. If our dogs don't know what we want them to do, they won't do it as much!"

Diane’s Grooming Tip of the Month
How often should you bathe your dog? Since bathing too frequently can cause skin irritation and flakiness, a good rule of thumb is to bathe your dog only when he or she needs a bath due to oily or "stinky" hair, a need for hair trim, or the dog got into the mud or dirt. Most dogs with normal skin do not need a bath more frequently than once a month.
