Kilo has been adopted by some of our regular volunteers who fell in love with her while helping out at New Leash On Life. This makes us so excited - one of our energetic and loving dogs finds a home and we get to sing the praises of our volunteers at the same time. We know Kilo will have a great life with her new family!
What is better on a Tuesday night than a burger, fries, and a milkshake? Nothing!
Today from 4-10pm at the McBean Pkwy, Valencia location, proceeds from your purchase at The Habit will go towards New Leash On Life when you mention the event at the register. This will help us complete the newly installed kitchen cabinets and dog food storage bins.
The Habit has a dog friendly patio so bring the whole family. See you there!
It is with great joy that we can announce that after almost a year of searching, our special girl Adele finally found her forever home!
Her new furever family met her at one of our Mobile Pet Adoption events at PETSMART in Stevenson Ranch, and have been smitten ever since. Today, the entire family came up to our facility to play with her and make the adoption official!
Notice something different on our site -- like, say, new pup pictures?! That's because we had a very special visitor stop by the Ranch on Monday!
We are thrilled to announce that we have partnered with Tanya of That Spunky Monkey Pet Photography to ensure our rescues are showcased on adoption websites as they should always be: in the best light, in their natural environment, being their natural, unique selves.
New Leash On Life was excited to rescue 5 dogs this past week. They are all currently up for adoption. Ghost (pictured) is a handsome, young Siberian Husky that loves people and other dogs. We also have a puppy(!), chihuahua, pit bull, and maltese. They join our other adoptable dogs which can be found at http://nlol.org/dogs. Submit an application today!
Wednesday, December 30th, 2015 was a fantastic day at New Leash On Life! We broke our long-standing adoption "record", and had a heart-warming THREE adoptions in ONE day!
Congrats to: Gigi, Molly, and Bodie on your new forever families! It was truly meant to be!
What a great way to wrap up a wonderful year here at the Ranch! We can't wait to see what the next year has in store for us!
From our family to yours... have a safe, happy New Year!
Everybody (and every dog) at New Leash On Life put on a big smile when Cheryl walks through the door. In honor of her exemplary volunteerism, read on for a fun Q & A with Cheryl. If you would like a chance to volunteer at New Leash On Life, visit our website at http://nlol.org/volunteer-0.
Q: How long have you been volunteering with New Leash On Life?
A: 8 months
Q: What is your favorite aspect of volunteering with us?
Stonefire, a restaurant with a location in Santa Clarita Valley, is holding a contest on their Facebook page. Local non-profits can win one of twenty-five $100 gift cards. New Leash On Life has used Stonefire food for staff meetings and other events. This would be a great holiday gift for us!
The New Leash On Life staff is feeling motivated (as usual) and we have begun Fall cleaning! Specifically, we are undergoing an office renovation at the Ranch. We wanted to spruce up the space we spend time in, and, most importantly, where we serve you: our beloved clients.
While we have accumulated various supplies, there are still some key items needed that would make our renovation complete!
Worried that our tastes do not match yours? No problem! An office supply store gift card would be a great idea, too!
